When I first decided to branch out in my home based business I was confused. On one hand I had people asking me to provide a service and on the other I did not believe I knew enough in order to assist them. Then one day I was with my Live Out Loud mastermind team and realized just how much I had to offer the team on the topic of how to use social media and the internet.
It took me months to get my act together, I needed to learn some new skills myself in order to be able to create and market the product. I found I kept coming up with excuses or finding something “more important” to do. More and more people started asking me to assist them in learning this new skill. It was then I realized that getting my act together to teach the social media really was my “important task”. I have to keep my iPod with me at all times because sometimes being alone with my own thoughts is not a good thing. Recently we had a tenant give us 24 hours notice that she would be vacating our rental property. She had no money. We thought that to be very strange because she had been in the property for 1 1/2 years and had always paid her rent and kept the place very neat and clean. We suggested we take a partial payment and see how things were in the middle of the month. No that would not work, she was moving. That was the 29th of the month. Continue reading this entry…
